Overview
Iron Ridge Paving, LLC is a commercial and industrial asphalt paving company, specializing in parking lot paving and additions.
We are looking to hire an experienced equipment operators. Experience in asphalt paving is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Duties
- Ability to travel 2-3 weeks at a time
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and safety of employees.
- Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and machinery.
- Responsible for reporting problems and malfunction equipment and/or machinery to supervisor and/or shop personnel.
- Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools such as rakes, shovels, wheel barrels, etc.
- Responsible for understanding machine control
- Meet daily production goals by understanding and performing all aspects of operations
- Ability to follow directions
- Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Loading and unloading materials
- Loading, unloading, and setting up safety cones and barriers.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and assist with identifying hazards
- Wears appropriate safety apparel and is aware of and follows all established safety practices and procedures.
- May be required to work day, evening or night hours, overtime, weekends and out-of-town assignments as required
- Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking and driving.
- Performs other position duties when requested
- Overtime paid at time and half after 40 hours
-Per Diem $75 per day
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
