Henniker Community School is seeking dynamic Special Education Teacher/ Case Manager to join our middle school team for the 2026-2027 School Year. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for middle school students with diverse needs. This role involves developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing effective teaching strategies, and collaborating with parents and other professionals to ensure the success of each student.
Responsibilities Include:

Creating engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.

Providing small group instruction to meet the learning needs of assigned students.

Utilizing effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior across educational settings

Collaborating with parents, support staff, and other educators to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Managing the special education process from referral to discharge under the direction of the Student Services Coordinator to ensure state and federal law compliance for the students assigned to their caseload.

Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student on your caseload.
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.

NH DOE certification in General Special Education (1900) required or eligibility with the NHDOE.

Experience working with Middle School Students preferred.
