Summary
We are seeking a passionate Swim Instructor to join our team at British Swim School. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to students of all ages, fostering a safe and enjoyable learning environment that promotes water safety and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals of various ages and skill levels.
- Implement fun and engaging teaching methods to promote water safety and swimming proficiency.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment during lessons, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is highly desirable.
- Current lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate students and engage with parents.
- Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus.
