The homeKey Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medication reminders (or medications if certified and permitted)
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Provide companionship
- Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health to family members or healthcare professionals
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Working Conditions:
- Work in private homes
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
