Job Summary
Quality Appliance of Faribault is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Delivery and Installation Crew Member to join our team. Working side-by-side with experienced team members, you will be responsible for transporting, delivering, and installing residential appliances directly to our customers' homes.Delivery and installation drive the ultimate success of our business. Because you interact face-to-face with homeowners, you leave the critical final impression of our company. This active, fast-paced role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy a collaborative team environment, and adapt easily to changing daily schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, transport, and install a wide variety of household appliances.
- Navigate local routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at scheduled client appointments.
- Inspect products before delivery and verify correct installation prior to leaving the home.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and follow all DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Consistently lift, move, and maneuver heavy appliances weighing 50 to 75+ lbs using proper equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers to provide an exceptional service experience.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record (Required).
- Experience: Previous background in appliance installation, mechanical work, plumbing, carpentry, or professional moving is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong mechanical inclination, problem-solving skills, and comfort using basic hand tools.
- Truck Operations: Ability to safely drive a box truck (or a strong willingness to learn—we will train you!).
- Attributes: Exceptional time management, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
