Now Hiring: Physical Therapy/Rehab Assistant & Office Administrator (Dual Role)
Location: Real Healthcare Clinic – Goose Creek, SC
Type: Full-Time | In-Clinic | Patient-Facing Role
Compensation: Competitive Pay + Benefits + Purposeful Work
Who Will Thrive in This Role
Our ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and genuinely enjoys providing hands-on patient care. This person takes pride in performing treatments correctly, documenting accurately, and noticing the small details that can affect a patient’s comfort, safety, and progress.
You should enjoy:
- Working directly with patients throughout their treatment experience
- Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Educating patients about their assigned treatments, exercises, and care instructions
- Encouraging patients who may be nervous, uncomfortable, discouraged, or struggling with consistency
- Helping patients understand how their participation can support better outcomes
- Watching patients improve, regain function, reduce pain, and feel better over time
- Building positive relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Following detailed treatment protocols and provider instructions
- Accurately documenting treatments, patient tolerance, progress, and relevant observations
- Communicating changes, concerns, or treatment responses to the clinical provider
- Keeping treatment areas organized, clean, safe, and prepared
The right person will not view this as simply moving patients from one machine to another. They will be engaged in the patient’s experience, attentive to how the patient is responding, and motivated by the opportunity to support meaningful improvements in health and function.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is:
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and accurate
- Compassionate, patient, and encouraging
- Comfortable providing hands-on assistance with treatments and rehabilitation
- Confident educating patients in a clear, supportive, and easy-to-understand manner
- Able to demonstrate exercises and reinforce provider-directed instructions
- Observant of changes in patient comfort, mobility, symptoms, or treatment tolerance
- Motivated by helping people improve and feel better
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Organized and able to manage several responsibilities without overlooking important details
- Comfortable documenting in an electronic patient chart
- Professional in appearance, communication, and behavior
- Able to follow clinical protocols precisely while asking questions when clarification is needed
- Willing to take initiative rather than waiting to be told every next step
- Receptive to training, feedback, and continued learning
- Energetic enough to remain actively involved with patients throughout the workday
- Interested in physical rehabilitation, chiropractic care, functional medicine, and whole-person healthcare
Prior healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, exercise instruction, or patient-education experience is helpful, but attitude, attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine desire to help patients are equally important.
