Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for a Certified Nursing Assistant Position: Full time CNA position.
Position(s) Avaliable:
- CNA, Med/Surg Department (7p-7a) - One (1) Avaliable
- CNA, Med/Surg Department (7a-7p) - One (1) Avaliable
CNA will provide direct patient care within scope of training and experience, under the supervision of professional nurse.
CNA Required Experience:
- Preferred one (1) year previous health care setting
CNA Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Louisiana Nurse Assistant Certification
CNA Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
- May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients frequently as well as walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas
