Dynamic Energy Services has openings for Full-time Solids Control Technicians to work in WEST TEXAS and NEW MEXICO.
MUST HAVE SOLIDS CONTROL EXPERIENCE | MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION NO EXCEPTIONS
The Solids Control Technician (Sit Hand) will operate and maintain solids control equipment (grinders, centrifuge, drying shakers, desanders, desilters, etc.) and other heavy equipment (track hoe).
The Solids Control Technician must be willing to work long hours in varying temperatures and must a pass preemployment drug screen and physical. This position reports directly to the Service Manager and ultimately the Operations Manager. As with all positions at Dynamic Energy Services, roles and responsibilities may change at any time to meet the needs of the company.
20 days on 10 off rotation
Primary Job Functions
- Maintaining and operating solids control equipment (GRINDERS, centrifuge, drying shakers, desanders, desilters, etc.)
- Assisting with the rigging up and rigging down of solids control equipment
- Maintaining accurate service logs, customer paperwork and safety documents
- Ability to travel to various site locations including interstate travel; availability to work on-call on a scheduled basis
- Stay on client's location as scheduled to ensure solids control equipment functions properly and troubleshoot any potential problems Providing excellent customer
- Overseeing the mechanical/electrical processes which are used to provide enhanced drilling properties and recycle drilling mud through closed loop systems
- Operate the equipment (centrifuges) according to specifications directed by the Mud Engineer or Drilling Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
- Ability to react based on Customer needs and Safe Work Practices
- Dealing with difficult and varied personalities of crew, Company Man and other site personnel
Experience Requirements
- Understanding of Solids Control and closed-loop systems is required
- 2+ years of Solids Control training is required
- Entry level knowledge of oilfield practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other site personnel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
Physical Requirements
- Working in outdoor weather conditions in wet and extreme cold / extreme heat
- Requires strenuous activities including walking, bending, climbing and being able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Must be mentally alert at all time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
