The Children’s Doctor Professional Corporation is a well-established fast growing Pediatric Practice located in Riverside, California. We are seeking a enthusiastic, and dependable Physician Assistant for a full-time position with pediatric experience to join our team. The Physician Assistant will provide high quality care to patients ages 0-21 years under the direction of Physician. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
This is a temporary full-time position with the possibility of being permanent.
Job Duties:
- Take and review patients' medical histories
- Conduct physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; such as radiology tests and blood tests
- Make diagnoses concerning a patient's injury and illness
- Perform minor surgeries (sutures, toe nail removals, wart removal, etc)
- Prescribe medications as needed
- Refer patients to outside specialist when needed
- Record patient's progress
- Educate and counsel patients and their families about diagnosis and treatment
- Counsel patients on preventive care
- Research the latest treatments to ensure the quality of patient care
- Consult with Supervising Physician
