Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance of housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and teamwork
- Oversee cleaning routines, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, laundry services, and specialized cleaning tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality control and address any issues promptly
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; manage procurement as needed
- Lead efforts in guest service excellence by responding to special requests or concerns related to cleanliness
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
- Extensive janitorial experience including cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and safety
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and guest interaction
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred
