Position Summary
The Maintenance Project Manager (PM) serves as the Contractor’s primary point of contact for all depot maintenance support activities performed under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Operation and Maintenance Services Contract. The PM is responsible for planning, scheduling, oversight, execution, quality control, documentation, and coordination of maintenance operations to ensure contract performance objectives, safety requirements, operational readiness standards, and Government expectations are achieved.
The PM provides direct supervision of maintenance personnel and serves as the primary liaison between the Contractor, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), and Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI).

Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the single point of contact for all depot maintenance support activities and manage the total work effort associated with contract performance.
· Ensure all contract requirements, performance objectives, and service standards are achieved.
· Provide leadership, oversight, and direction to maintenance personnel while maintaining accountability for contract execution, staffing, quality control, safety, and operational performance.
· Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities.
· Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with contract requirements and applicable standards.
· Coordinate maintenance priorities and resources to support Government operational requirements.
· Prioritize, assign, and monitor maintenance requests and work orders through completion.
· Ensure maintenance deficiencies are properly documented and addressed.
· Provide daily supervision of maintenance staff and monitor workforce performance and productivity.
· Ensure required staffing levels are maintained and coordinate contingency staffing coverage to support uninterrupted operations.
· Review completed work for quality and compliance and ensure adherence to quality control procedures and established performance standards.
· Support audit readiness and documentation requirements.
· Coordinate with Government representatives regarding safety, environmental, and audit matters.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and applicable Navy, USACE, DLA, state, and federal regulations.
· Promote safe work practices and accident prevention initiatives and ensure hazards, deficiencies, and safety concerns are promptly addressed.
· Serve as the primary interface with Government representatives and participate in required bi-weekly coordination meetings.
· Support planning, scheduling, and execution discussions with Government personnel.
· Maintain effective communication regarding maintenance activities, performance status, and operational issues.
· Maintain secure communications using DoD Common Access Card (CAC) credentials and DLA-issued email systems.
· Review reports, schedules, maintenance records, and operational documentation.
· Support development and maintenance of staffing plans, organizational structures, and personnel qualifications documentation.
· Ensure contract records are maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum five (5) years of facility maintenance management experience or equipment maintenance management experience.
· Experience managing maintenance personnel and maintenance operations.
· Experience planning, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance activities.
· Experience supporting quality control, safety, and compliance programs.
· Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
· Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational capabilities.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities simultaneously.
· Ability to coordinate effectively with Government personnel and stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent management credential.
· Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal facility maintenance contracts.
· Experience working with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, or logistics facilities.
Physical Requirements & Conditions
· Ability to access all assigned facilities and work areas.
· Ability to occasionally inspect maintenance activities in warehouses, administrative facilities, and industrial environments.
· Must possess and maintain an active DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
· Must possess and maintain a DLA-issued email account.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain all required installation access credentials and badges.
· Must possess a valid driver's license.
· Must be on site or immediately available during DLA operating hours.
· Position is designated as Key Personnel under the contract.
· Changes to this position are subject to Government approval.
Reporting Relationship
Serves as the Contractor’s primary liaison between the USACE, DLA, NBSD, and NASNI.
Pay: $62,000.17 - $74,665.88 per year
