Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare fresh patties daily, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch
- Able to multi-task between patty making, filling the counter and assisting customers
- Filling meat orders for wholesale and customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety, SQF, GMP, and sanitation requirements always
- Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Accurately identify products and communicate issues to the supervisor (quality, equipment, supply shortages)
- Work cooperatively with team members to maintain workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to read labels, scales and thermometer
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and promote store offerings effectively
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and customer service standards
Hours of Operations
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (one day off during the week)
- Saturday (7:30am-3:15pm)
- During special events, staff is scheduled to work 7:30am-5:30pm, which could include the "off" day
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Capable of working in cold, refrigerated environments (32-44 degrees Fahrenheit) for extended periods exposure to raw meat products
- Requires wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, smocks, and hairnets.
- Standing and walking, 8 + hours per day
- Bending, twisting, reaching, 8+ hours per day
- Some overhead reaching, lifting and stacking
