Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver with a Sprinter, Ford Transit or Pro Master van to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle to complete deliveries and manage routes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate your own vehicle for the purpose of transporting goods to various locations.
- Perform route driving to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure that your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sprinter Van / Cargo Van commercial vehicles is essential.
- Experience with moving services or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing routes and schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
