Job Title: Lead Educator for Toddlers
Location: Kids At Heart Preschool & Child Care Center – Fairlawn, OH
Pay: $14.00/hr+ (starting rate based on experience and education)

Position Overview
We’re looking for a dependable and caring Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you’ll guide toddlers through one of the most important stages of their development—supporting routines, creating joyful learning experiences, and fostering a nurturing classroom environment.
You’ll lead lesson planning (training provided), help track progress, and collaborate with other team members to ensure children thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily routines, care, and learning activities for toddlers
- Create and implement fun, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom
- Track developmental milestones and communicate with families
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership team
- Follow Step Up To Quality guidelines (we’ll help with this!)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Valid photo ID and ability to pass a background check (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in early childhood education (Required)
- OCCRRA Level 3.0, CDA, or related coursework (Preferred)
