Position Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service support of our customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people. Works under immediate supervision.
Position Responsibilities:

Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints

Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems

Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken

Responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed

Responsible for all aspects of order entry

Provides proactive shipping information to customers

Works to solve customer problems under direction of manager

Responsible for producing submittals

Responsible for all aspects of customer service as directed

Other duties as assigned by manager
Essential Skills:
-
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in related area.

Must have problem solving ability

Must have excellent math skills

Understanding new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology

Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Blue Beam, internet research, and Outlook
