Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and specialty machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items with precision and care to meet quality standards.
- Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary workspace.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes when required, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and inventory levels of linens and supplies.
- Support the overall cleanliness of guest areas by ensuring linens are replenished promptly and neatly.
- Follow safety procedures and use protective gear when handling chemicals or performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet cleanliness standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations.
