Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician III to join our Commercial HVAC Service team in Tampa, FL.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment.
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV systems, hydronic systems, and DDC controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment startups, commissioning, and system optimization.
- Replace compressors, motors, valves, pumps, condensers, evaporators, and other major HVAC components.
- Recover, evacuate, charge, and handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and customer documentation.
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain high safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial HVAC Service experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing RTUs, chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAV systems, hydronic systems, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
- NATE Certification is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
