Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. We are a fine-dining Italian restaurant, and as a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Important note: All of our servers keep their own tips, there is no shared tip pool! Our servers average between $100-$250 in tips each night, depending on the day of the week. Nightly meals are also included for our employees, as well as employee discount! Paid sick leave is also included per Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA).
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns regarding food quality or service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Assist with hosting duties as needed, including managing reservations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with guest relations and hospitality principles is desired.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
