Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our Orthopedic Team. In this per diem role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic imaging with an emphasis on orthopedic cases. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with established protocols to support patient care in an orthopedic urgent care setting.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging and prompt reporting.
Maintain and document patient records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Operate and troubleshoot X-ray equipment, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Follow radiation protection procedures to safeguard patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
Previous experience in orthopedic imaging is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Ability to work independently during assigned shifts.
