Holy Name Housing Corporation’s (HNHC) Development and Communications Coordinator helps advance our mission by supporting the organization’s fundraising and communication efforts. This position is responsible for donor engagement, including individual giving, foundation and corporate support, state and federal grants, and event coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive communications and development strategy.
· Serve as the lead grant writer, crafting high-quality proposals that reflect HNHC’s goals, strategies, and impact.
· Identify funding opportunities at the local, state, and national levels.
· Collaborate across the organization to align funding requests and reports with HNHC’s priorities and programmatic goals.
· Create opportunities to engage with new donors to share the story of HNHC and the need for affordable housing in our community.
· Capture participant photos, interviews, and videos for compelling digital storytelling.
· Draft copy for quarterly newsletters, annual appeal, personalized donation acknowledgments, and stakeholder documents.
· In coordination with the CFO and Director of Compliance, ensure timely submission of reporting to donors, including narrative, data, and financial components.
· Coordinate and support the facilitation of any donor-centric or grant-driven events.
· Develop and maintain a robust communications calendar.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Demonstrated experience with database management and ability to organize and analyze data towards the implementation of strategic objectives
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to strategically plan and execute goals aligned with the organization’s mission.
· Competency in implementing marketing and communications strategies.
· Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in non-profit fundraising/development, advancement, and/or marketing required.
This is an hourly position, based on knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual salary range is $55,000-$60,000 and includes our standard benefits package.
