Kitchen Staff – Brief Care Program
We are currently looking for a dedicated kitchen staff member to join our Brief Care team and make a meaningful impact in the community!
About the Brief Care Program: Brief Care is a voluntary state program that provides essential stabilization services to clients in need. Gourmet Galley supports this program by serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to guests year-round.
Location:
Uncas on Thames, Norwich, CT
Position Details:
- Shift: Breakfast 7am-9:15am, Lunch 10am-1:15pm and Dinner 4pm-6:15pm
- Pay: $20 per hour, with an additional 15 minutes paid for travel time to and from the shift
- Duties: Food preparation, plating, and serving to guests.
- Training provided
- Additional shifts may become available over time.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients
- Knowledge of inventory management to ensure adequate supplies
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food industry environment
- Background check is required
