Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Comprehensive, Technology-Driven Private Practice
Oak Dental Associates | Oak Lawn, Illinois
Great hygienists don't just prevent disease—they help change lives. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
At Oak Dental Associates, we believe dentistry is about far more than treating teeth. It's about improving health, building relationships, educating patients, and helping people smile with confidence.
We are a privately owned, restorative-focused dental practice that is continually investing in advanced technology, continuing education, and modern clinical techniques. Our goal is simple: to provide the highest level of care while creating an exceptional experience for every patient.
We're looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who shares that vision—someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys learning, embraces technology, and wants to practice at the highest level of the profession.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our clinical team, you'll provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care while serving as a true partner in our patients' oral health.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive periodontal evaluations
- Adult and pediatric preventive care
- Scaling and root planing
- Periodontal maintenance
- Oral cancer screenings
- Digital radiographs and periodontal charting
- Thorough clinical documentation
- Patient education and preventive counseling
You'll work closely with our doctors to identify disease early, educate patients about their oral health, and help them understand recommended restorative, implant, and orthodontic treatment. We believe informed patients make better decisions, and our hygienists play an essential role in that process.
Why You'll Love Working Here
We're committed to providing our team with the tools, technology, and support they need to succeed.
Our practice features:
- Digital iTero scanning
- AI-assisted radiograph analysis
- Digital clinical documentation
- Same-day restorative dentistry
- Dental implant therapy
- A growing Invisalign program
Experience with digital scanning or Invisalign is welcome, but it isn't required. If you're motivated, curious, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal hygienist is someone who:
- Loves building relationships with patients
- Is dependable, organized, and punctual
- Communicates with confidence and compassion
- Takes initiative and enjoys being an active member of the clinical team
- Documents clinical findings thoroughly and accurately
- Embraces technology and continuous learning
- Collaborates well with doctors and teammates
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care every day
If you're the kind of professional who asks, "How can I become even better?" you'll feel right at home here.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation
- Continuing education and professional development
- Hands-on training with advanced technology
- Supportive doctors who enjoy mentoring and teaching
- A positive, respectful, team-oriented culture
- A loyal patient base
- The opportunity to build a long-term career in a progressive private practice
Join Our Team
We're not simply looking to fill a hygiene position—we're looking for the next long-term member of our dental family.
If you're excited about practicing high-quality dentistry, embracing innovation, and making a meaningful difference in your patients' lives every day, we'd love to meet you.
We hire for character, coachability, and commitment to excellence. We can teach systems and technology—we can't teach passion for patient care.
Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us why you believe you'd be a great fit for Oak Dental Associates.
