Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual HBM Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in machining processes. This role involves operating manual machining equipment to produce precision parts and components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual mills, HBM, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, and bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy in production.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for various machining operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Experience in running manual machines
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machining equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of tooling requirements for various machining operations is advantageous.
- Prior experience operating coordinate measuring machines will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work are required.
