Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
- Support bussing staff by clearing tables and returning dirty dishes to the kitchen promptly.
- Help during banquet events by ensuring that all serving items are clean and ready for use.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
