Applicant will be assigned a "home" station but must be able to work at any one of our three locations (Bethany, Edmond, South Oklahoma City). Reliable transportation is required. Monday to Friday. No weekends. No major holidays.
Summary/objective
The CNA is primarily responsible for coordinating personal and health related care, conducting activities, promoting independence, encouraging socialization, and advocating socialization, and advocating for better care and lifestyle of participants who attend our facility.
Essential functions

- Provide exceptional care with kindness and humility
- Work with compassion for adults and their families
- Assist with personal care of participants
- Toileting
- Changing soiled clothing
- Personal hygiene care as needed
- Assist in ambulation
- Monitoring food and fluid intake
- All other areas of personal care services
- Maintain participants records according to the regulations and established policies and procedures
- Note and report any changes in attitude, health, or needs of participants
- Conduct program activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psycho social well-being of each participant.
- Work with care staff to provide excellent level of participant care
- Work with volunteers assigned to specific projects
- Use safety measures to assure safety of participants, visitors and employees
- Attend educational programs relevant to job responsibilities
- Exemplify integrity, excellence and accountability
Required education and experience
- Must have current CNA or Long Term Care certification
- Must be First Aid and CPR certified
- Dependable transportation is a must
- Experience with special needs and memory care
