-We are a leading metal stamping and assembly supplier primarily serving the automotive market. Our privately held and employee owned company, founded upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 600 team members across 4 plant locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strive to achieve company objectives while demonstrating company’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Ridgeview Principles in the performance of daily activities. Operate machines according to Secondary Departmental instructions following Governmental and/or Company Safety and housekeeping policies/procedures.
- Follow Safety policies including consistently utilizing required personal protective equipment.
- Actively support safety initiatives, hazard identification, and safe material handling practices.
- Ensure quality requirements are achieved by completing visual and fixture checks, reading and following Quality communications, and following established process.
- Load specified parts into machine and push buttons to start/activate machine.
- Unload parts from machine and place into containers per customer specifications.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to leadership.
- Communicate with coworkers including the incoming shift to update on any issues or upcoming jobs.
- Effectively stock parts at work station as needed.
- Maintain work area cleanliness, 5’S principles, and organization of materials.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Work in a team environment and strive for continued improvements.
- Ability to read and write in English. Ability to present information to other employees of our organization.
- Follow established processes.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Familiarity of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to work with basic computer programs, such as MS Word, Internet, or Apps.

- Use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Speak, hear and listen in environment with significant background noise.
Work Environment
This position is performed in an active metal manufacturing environment. Employees work around operating machinery, moving mechanical equipment, powered industrial vehicles, overhead cranes, and heavy steel machines. The role involves exposure to elevated noise level, airborne industrial particles, vibration, temperature variations, and typical production floor activities including handling metal product that may have sharp edges.
