Rebuild Manager Position Overview
The Rebuild Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating reconstruction projects for water loss customers from mitigation completion through final project close-out. This role ensures seamless communication between homeowners, insurance carriers, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver timely, high-quality rebuild services while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in insurance-related restoration projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Oversight
- Receive project handoff from mitigation team and review scope of work
- Create and manage rebuild projects in CRM/management software
- Schedule site visits, material selections, subcontractors, and inspections
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure proper execution
- Track project timelines and proactively address delays
Responsibilities:
- Manage reconstruction projects from estimate approval through final walk-through
- Use Xactimate to create accurate, detailed job estimates based on scope of work
- Coordinate schedules and work with subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, adjusters, and internal teams
- Monitor job progress, costs, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Handle change orders, permits, inspections, and close-out documentation
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years in residential/commercial construction or restoration
- Proficient in Xactimate
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand structural requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Experience with insurance restoration projects
