Part-Time / As-Needed Service Technician
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Service Technician to assist on a part-time, as-needed basis.
Experience in this field is not required. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn.
This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and preparing golf carts to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and service on golf carts.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Inspect carts for safety, performance, and overall condition.
- Install, replace, and adjust parts and accessories as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Keep accurate records of completed work and parts used.
- Assist with general shop duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Previous experience with small engines, automotive, powersports, or similar equipment is a plus but not required.
This flexible position is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income or a retiree/hobbyist who enjoys hands-on mechanical work. Hours will vary based on workload and business needs.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
