As the Head Housekeeper at Holiday Inn, you will oversee the housekeeping department to ensure our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming environment. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and service, contributing directly to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to team members.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Train new staff on housekeeping procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Respond to guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
