Duties
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring health status
- Supervise multiple dogs of different breeds and sizes, ensuring a safe and friendly group play experience.
- Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, drying and brushing, dogs to ensure pets look and feel their best
- Support dog boarding services by engaging with animals in outdoor play areas and ensuring their comfort during their stay
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of kennels, common areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with check-in and check-out times
Experience
- Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable
- Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, or dog training is a strong plus
- Prior kennel experience or animal handling background is preferred
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and general animal care procedures is beneficial
- Hands-on outdoor work experience involving animals or pets enhances your suitability for this role
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable cleaning and sanitizing after pet accidents including urine, feces, vomit, blood or drool

- Are you willing to work morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts based on kennel needs?
- Are you comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments - including strong pullers, jumpers and anxious dogs?
- Are you able to life 50+lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as cleaning kennels, mopping and safely restraining dogs?
- Do you have reliable transportation to/from work?
- Are you comfortable working in environments with loud noises, cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions?
