Waterpark Assistant Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for assisting the Operation Manager with administration and operation necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest/associate safety, sanitation/cleanliness, equipment safety/repairs, sales/profitability, costs, employee retention, and guest service satisfaction of all Resort venues located in the indoor and outdoor waterpark.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll provide a safe and fun environment for all guests and associates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Waterpark Manager with associates' recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling for lifeguards, slide/pool attendants, park keepers, EMT's, maintenance, and waterpark front desk/cashiers.
- Assist Manager with Kalahari waterparks' plan, strategies, actions and executing them effectively with waterpark associates.
- Ensure lifeguards and EMT's are performing to the standards set forth by Kalahari certifying agency and management team.
- Walk entire waterpark floor throughout shifts checking on safety concerns, guest satisfactions and lifeguard performances.
- Assist Manager in company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of associates, as well as create a positive, safe, productive working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role preferred
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
