Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Front Wheel Loader Operator/Yard Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy machinery, particularly front-end wheel loaders and skid steers, to facilitate various tasks in our operations. This role requires a solid understanding of construction and labor practices, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy machinery, including loaders, skid steers, in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Load and unload materials and equipment on-site, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in safety training initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform additional labor duties as required, including manual labor tasks and site support.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a wheel loader operator, skid steer operator, or in a similar role is required. Min 3 years
- Valid driver’s license and any relevant certifications for operating heavy machinery
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate wheel loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment proficiently.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
