Position Overview
Capital City Construction and Remediation is seeking an Experienced Remodeling Carpenter to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on high-quality residential remodeling projects, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks from demolition through finished carpentry. The ideal candidate brings extensive remodeling and carpentry experience and thrives in a professional, results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform demolition (demo) work safely and efficiently
- Complete framing for structural and non-structural elements
- Build and install decks
- Install cabinets and related millwork
- Execute full kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects
- Perform rough and finished carpentry, including trim, doors, custom woodwork, and finish details
- Ability to perform precise measurements and detailed craftsmanship in tasks such as door hanging or cabinet installation.
- Support construction painting, caulking, reinstallation of siding or roofing components, and other finishing touches to complete remodeling projects.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all company safety protocols and quality expectations
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Extensive experience in residential remodeling and carpentry
- Proven skills in demolition, framing, deck construction, cabinet installation, and kitchen/bath remodeling
- Strong proficiency in both rough and finished carpentry
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to perform the full range of carpentry and remodeling tasks, with the ability to lift heavy materials regularly; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour
