Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive and powersports-specific tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various powersports vehicles, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and assembly.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, offering maintenance advice, and promoting additional services or products.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when removing or installing large vehicle components.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with powersports or automotive vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures such as brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and automotive diagnostic software.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
