Summary
Responsible setting up and running HAAS CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Loads appropriate metal onto machine.
· Monitoring machines for, and adjusting for, tool wear, material issues, or calibration problems.
· Alerts supervisor of nonconforming parts and other issues as needed.
· Inspect material for proper type, thickness and grade.
· Measure finished parts against drawings using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
· Follows all safety rules.
· Follows company’s ISO procedures, including quality process and policy.
· Cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting machines to ensure efficient, continuous operation.
Competencies
· Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
· Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and technical documents.
· Experience with machining equipment and precision measuring tools.
Qualifications and Experience
· High school or GED required.
· Minimum of two years’ experience on HAAS CNC milling machines.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
