American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and a minimum of 2 prior travel contracts.

Works in an Emergency Department at an acute care hospital setting
-
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend (EOW) or based on department needs
-
Holiday rotation shared with regular staff
-
Cares for a mixed patient population including critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patients
-
Uses Epic EMR
-
Floating may be required within skill set, including to sites within 40 miles
-
Active WI or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
-
Minimum of 2 prior travel contracts required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale certification
-
MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years

Experience caring for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations

Proficiency with Epic EMR

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Copies of certifications, license verification, and Nursys verification required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Responsible for safe, sound clinical judgment and thorough documentation when caring for critically ill patients

Must demonstrate strong team collaboration skills with clear and timely communication, appropriately escalating concerns to ensure patient safety

Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
