Sierra Smiles is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you'll work alongside our doctors and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care while creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Schedule
- Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take and process dental radiographs while following all safety protocols.
- Maintain proper sterilization procedures and OSHA infection control standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care.
- Accurately document patient treatment and clinical notes.
- Help manage operatory flow to ensure an efficient daily schedule.
- Monitor and restock clinical supplies as needed.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
- Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Current radiology certification, if required by the state of Nevada
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
