Salary: $175,000 – $200,000 Depending on applicable experience
As the Head of Product, Pulse, you will be a senior executive within NABP who will lead the transition from a defined product concept to a scalable, market-ready platform. You will be responsible for product strategy, execution, and adoption from pre-launch through early commercialization and growth.
Working closely with NABP leadership, engineering, and commercial leadership, you will translate vision into roadmaps and product delivery, validate real-world use cases, and build a high-performing product function. The role requires a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity and can balance speed, quality, and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment.
This is a foundational leadership role that will shape Pulse by NABP’s product culture, operating model, and long-term competitive advantage.
Product Strategy and Vision
- Refines and operationalizes Pulse’s product vision, positioning, and value proposition across customer segments.
- Owns and maintains the multi-phase roadmap from Minimum Value Product (MVP) through enterprise scale.
- Aligns product priorities with industry, commercial, and partnership requirements.
- Defines success metrics for pre-launch validation, pilot adoption, and early revenue.
Pre-Launch and MVP Execution
- Leads the transition from defined product concept to production-ready platform.
- Validates assumptions through customer discovery, pilots, and early adopters.
- Translates business and compliance requirements into actionable product specs.
- Ensures readiness for launch across usability, reliability, and security.
Cross-Functional Delivery
- Partners closely across teams, such as Engineering, Data, Legal, QA, and Operations.
- Establishes agile delivery practices and release management.
- Coordinates product readiness with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Supports enterprise onboarding, integrations, and early implementations.
Customer and Market Development
- Builds feedback loops with customers, partners, and regulators.
- Leads product involvement in key customer engagements and demos.
- Translates market insights into product/feature improvements.
- Monitors competitive and regulatory trends to guide roadmap evolution.
Team Building and Leadership
- Builds and mentors the initial product management and UX function.
- Establishes product governance, prioritization, and documentation standards.
- Creates scalable processes for discovery, delivery, and lifecycle management.
- Develops future leadership and succession within the product organization.
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or technical degree preferred.
- 10+ years in product management, including product leadership roles with direct reports.
- Previous experience launching and scaling B2B SaaS products from MVP to growth is required.
- Prior work in healthcare, life sciences, compliance, or regulated SaaS environments is desired.
- Demonstrated success in early-stage or high-growth companies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise workflows, integrations, and data platforms.
- Experience working with distributed technical and operational teams.
