Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at ADUSA Distribution and Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting our distribution operations.
Automation Technicians will be responsible to maintain, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance to the facilities Automation Systems consisting of:
Dematic Automated Storage and Retrieval Machines
Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors
Drag-Chain Conveyors
Thru/In–Frame Drag-Chain Transfers
Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors
Schaefer Automated Case Pick and Automated Tray Storage Systems
KUKA Robotics
Responsibilities:
- To maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying system components (i.e. gearbox exchanges, alignment of structural parts, root cause failure analysis)
- To troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability
- To perform scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components
- To assist other maintenance team members with duties/repairs of equipment consistent with level of experience and training
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Industrial Power 3 Phase 480V and industry accepted electrical safety practices for testing energized circuits.
- Intricate understanding of PLC and VFD programing and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.
- Comprehensive understanding of field buss and industrial networking.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
- Proper use of power tools and measuring devices--must provide all basic hand tools required to maintain automated equipment.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 110 ft.
- Able to access assets in the structure using ladders (ladder weight limit of 300 lbs).
- Advanced computer knowledge including hardware, firmware, and operating systems.
- Experience welding with MIG, TIG, or Stick a plus.
- Knowledge of ABB/SEW drive technology a plus.
- Experience with various Machine Shop equipment a plus.
- High School Diploma required, 2 year degree or trade school certification preferred
- 2 years minimum experience preferred
- Constant- seeing, hearing, sitting
- Frequent- standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching, gripping of items 20 lbs. and under
- Occasional- carrying and lifting items over 60lbs.
