Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Manage daily classroom activities, including behavior management and classroom organization to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor child development and tailor instruction accordingly
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare standards are upheld at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Mandated Reporter Training for Childcare
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork
- Ability to work with diverse student populations including toddlers and children with special needs
- Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to young children is highly desirable
