Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen actively to understand their needs, and guide them through product selections with confidence.
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase new or featured items, highlighting their benefits and uses.
- Assist customers with POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves to enhance shopping experience.
- Educate customers on product effects, proper usage, and responsible consumption practices.
- Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences.
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves regularly and alerting management of low stock or discrepancies.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when assisting remote inquiries or placing orders via phone.
- Demonstrate supervising experience by supporting team members during busy hours and maintaining smooth store operations.
Skills
- Proven experience with retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments involving cash handling and POS systems.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining organized displays to attract customer attention.
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through product demos and training sessions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor; adept at phone etiquette.
- Supervising experience is a plus for supporting team leadership roles during shifts.
