Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for 12-hour shifts (Monday-Friday 8a to 8p) in Hillsboro. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals with dementia, or require assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization of the home.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Skills
- Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or hospice.
- Knowledge of memory care strategies, particularly for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Good transferring skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
