Pay: $13.00 per hour, plus eligibility to participate in the applicable service charge pool and additional gratuities, where applicable
Position Summary
Venetian Golf Club, a premier private golf club and part of Heritage Golf Group, is seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented Food & Beverage Servers to join our team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to Members and guests through attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a team-oriented hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional food and beverage service to Members and guests.
- Greet Members and guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of menus, daily specials, beverages, and club offerings.
- Anticipate Member and guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Communicate effectively with culinary and other food and beverage team members to ensure timely service.
- Properly handle guest checks, payments, and transactions in accordance with club procedures.
- Assist with setting, clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables and service areas.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and club policies and procedures.
- Assist with club events, banquets, and special functions as needed.
- Perform opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
- Provide the high level of hospitality and personalized service expected in a private club environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events as needed.
- Must meet applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
