Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure.
We are seeking someone ambitious, who will help us grow a startup construction company from the ground up, that is focused on pre-cast pool installation and the landscaped areas around them.
Must have: Experience with swimming pool installation and repair, knowledge and experience with concrete, and hands-on experience with plastering pools. **please do not apply if this doesn't describe you**
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project alignment.
- Oversee construction estimating processes and review contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities, verify adherence to blueprints and schematics, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks efficiently, tracking progress through project scheduling tools, and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Review construction drawings including Civil 3D schematics and blueprints for accuracy before implementation.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, review bids with HeavyBid or similar estimating tools, and manage contract negotiations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and progress updates for transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software like HeavyBid; experience with Bluebeam for document review is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software including ProCore or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles using Civil 3D or similar design tools.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams across various disciplines on large-scale projects. Pay: $78,513.58 - $94,553.98 per year
