POSITION OVERVIEW – Recruiter 5
A Recruiter 5 drives the full talent acquisition lifecycle — sourcing, interviewing, and screening candidates to fill both current and future openings, while acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in recruitment strategy, hiring policy, and stakeholder management, not just candidate sourcing. Success in this role depends on staying closely connected to evolving business needs, advising managers and employees on staffing best practices, and consistently bringing in the right talent to support the organization's growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization and make hiring recommendations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent training required
- 10+ years of customer service-related experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Expert knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities
- Expert knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training
- Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
- Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of customer service-related recruiting experience
- Expert knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, and hiring practices
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
