We are looking for four Inside Business Development Representatives to represent the NW, NE, SW, SE Regions of the United States. Please see below the list for which region you will be assigned based on what state you are located in.
NE Region: MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, MI, KY, OH, WV, VA, PA, MD, DC, DE, NJ, RI, CT, MA, NY, VT, NH, ME
NW Region: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, AK
SE Region: OK, AR, LA, MS, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL
SW Region: CA, NV, UT, AZ, CO, KS, NM, TX, HI
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities for ACT. This role focuses on generating leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and coordinating introductions between qualified prospects and the ACT technical team. Once a qualified opportunity is identified, the Business Development Representative will transition the opportunity to the ACT technical team, who will manage the technical sales process and close the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals, and other lead generation activities.

Qualify potential customers based on ACT's target market and service offerings.

Schedule meetings and introductions between prospective clients and the ACT technical sales team.

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to support the ACT technical team.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.

Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and revenue goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in business development, inside sales, or lead generation preferred.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience using CRM software is preferred.
COMPENSATION PLAN:
COMMISSION STRUCTURE
-
Business Development Representative earns 3% commission on the gross value of each closed deal.
-
ACT receives 2% commission on each closed deal.
COMMISSION DURATION
-
Months 1–6: Business Development Representative receives 3% commission on all qualifying direct business generated.
-
Months 7–12: Commission is reduced to 1% on the same qualifying accounts.

After 12 months: Commission payments on that customer account end. The account becomes direct business for ACT, and no further commissions are payable.
COMMISSION ELIGIBILITY
-
Commissions are earned only on business that originates from the Business Development Representative and is successfully closed by the ACT technical team.

Commission payments are made only after ACT has received payment from the customer.

ACT reserves the right to modify the commission plan for future opportunities with appropriate notice. Previously earned commissions will be paid according to the terms in effect at the time the opportunity was closed.
