Job description:
Immediate openings for full-time bulk mail production operators.
This is first shift M-F, 6:30 am-3:00 pm with occasional overtime.
Printco Graphics is seeking an experienced individual to set up and run various types of printing and mailing machines in our mail department. The machines include a Blue Crest inserter, Kirk Rudy inkjet imagers & tabbers, poly-bagger and shrink-wrapper. This job involves setting up machines manually and with a computer, loading the machines with printed material and running jobs accurately and efficiently with an eye for quality control.
The ideal candidate for this position would have previous experience working in an outgoing bulk mail facility; be able to multitask; pay meticulous attention to detail; and take ownership of doing their job well. Please list the equipment you have worked with when you apply. Experience with inkjet and inserter machines is a huge plus.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Read and understand the job ticket; review job specifications to determine address position.
- Set-up and operate inkjet machine
- Set-up and operate the mail inserter machine
- Proof initial pieces against ticket specifications and mailing list sample. Verify position and layout of address and bar codes.
- Monitor finished pieces throughout the run.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines.
- Perform job duties in accordance with all company safety procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bulk mail house setting up and running jobs
- Working knowledge of equipment (inkjet, tabbing, polybag and inserting machines) normally associated with direct mail production companies
- Working knowledge of USPS direct mail regulations
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and be proficient navigating a Windows PC environment
- Good judgment for decision making
- Attention to detail and ability to read fine print
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push and pull heavy objects
This position is eligible for a One-Time Signing Bonus of $500 after successfully completing 90 days of full-time work at Printco!
