Someone who has restaurant management experience is a must. The role we need to fill requires a background in serving and bartending as well.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our retail or service environment. This role is vital in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence. As a Manager, you will foster a positive team culture, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure the store or branch runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential.
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to attract top talent; participate in hiring decisions.
- Supervise daily store operations including cash register functions, cashiering, shift management, and customer relations.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote products or services; monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain organizational standards through effective communication skills, time management, and leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development, and team management.
- Proficiency in inventory control, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a grocery store or retail environment is highly desirable.
