Come work for a company with a family friendly environment. Oaks Bros Trucking Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time professional Class A CDL truck driver. We work with a local company hauling water, drilling mud, and cement. Majority of the work is local but will have to be willing to work some out-of-town jobs.
Duties
- This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Must be capable of pulling hoses, coupling hoses, loading and unloading products correctly and stowing the hoses and equipment for travel.
- Upkeep and minor repairs on truck and trailer for FMSCA compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness of semi truck.
- Manage route planning to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.
- Drivers are responsible for accurately completing all tickets and sending them to company representative in a timely manner.
- Work any hour of the day/night.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
Skills
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
- 2 years of verifiable driving experience - Clean MVR is preferred.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and adhere to drug and alcohol policy. Participate in company clearinghouse program per FMSCA.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on the road.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.
- Willingness to perform job tasks.
