Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team at Rent a Wheel and ensure the smooth operation of our store. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, optimizing sales performance, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive team motivation, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold company standards to create a welcoming shopping environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, installations, and staff management.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance.
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with marketing plans to attract customers and boost revenue.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, and financial records including bookkeeping and budgeting tasks.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication skills, and leadership development among staff members.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a retail Wheel and Tire Shop or Mechanical Service Shop environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and retail sales techniques.
- Experience using ROI or Digital Vehicle Inspections.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and recruiting processes.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and store merchandising.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally using phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
